Pune, May 9, 2012: Dhingana, the leading Indian music-streaming platform, today announced an integration with Facebook that enables people to share their music with friends and discover new songs through their timelines on Facebook.
Snehal Shinde, Co-founder and CEO, Dhingana said “More than 45 million Indians are sharing updates about their lives with their friends on Facebook. In the same way, Dhingana will enable music lovers to discover, play and share their favorite music with friends on Facebook.”
Users will now be able to log into Dhingana with their Facebook account and add songs to their timeline as they listen. After the integration is complete, users will begin to see "music" posts and "play" buttons shared by friends in news feed. They will be able to play music right there in the Facebook feed. They will also be able to share their favorite playlists and songs with their friends as well as discover the music that's trending with their friends. When users spot friends listening to music on Facebook, they can also click "listen with" from the ticker and listen to that song together with friends through Dhingana. The company is working actively to make the social music experience better week over week by integrating deeper with Facebook.
